Timber — AI Calendar

Support & help

Timber is an on-device AI calendar assistant. You connect your own AI provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini) and Timber helps you read your schedule, create and tidy events in natural language, and find things to do near you.

Getting started

  1. Open Settings → AI provider and paste an API key from your chosen provider. The key is stored only on your device.
  2. Grant calendar access when prompted so Timber can read and create events.
  3. Pick the calendars that make up your personal schedule.
  4. Set Your city so Timber can suggest local events.
  5. Ask Timber anything — e.g. “add a team standup at 9:30am tomorrow.”

FAQ

Do I need to pay for AI?

Timber itself is free. It talks to the AI provider you choose using your own key, so any model usage is billed by that provider, not by Timber.

Where is my data stored?

Your calendar data stays on your device. When you ask a question, the relevant text is sent to the AI provider you configured to generate a response. Timber does not run its own servers and does not collect or retain your data. See our Privacy Policy.

How does “find local events” work?

City lookup uses OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service to turn the city name you type into coordinates. No precise device location is collected.

How do I delete events Timber created?

Ask Timber to remove them (it supports bulk delete with a confirmation), or delete them from the calendar view like any other event.
